Kenya - Orthopedic technicians training at the Kenyatta Hospital
In 2020, SwissLimbs conducted its first training for orthopedic technicians in Nairobi, Kenya.
In 2020, SwissLimbs conducted a first training for orthopedic technicians in Kenya. The training was provided by Claude Mushi and Deborah Henry from MPOW in Mwanza, Emmanuel Kalanzi, an orthopedic technician in Gulu, Uganda and SwissLimbs Ambassador for Africa, and Yohanna Jeong, SwissLimbs' expert in 3D printing for the myoelectric hand from South Korea.

The purpose of the mission was to provide training to 22 technicians at Kenyatta Hospital in Nairobi and donate prostheses to 13 patients, made in just one week of training.
